Q.  What is sublimation?

 

A.  Sublimation is a process that imprints color on certain light colored substrates for plaques signs, nameplates, etc.

 

Q.  What is reverse engraving?

 

A.  A special material is engraved backwards on the backside of the material.  It can then be color filled with no indention felt.  –Great for shop applications.

 

Q.  What is the advantage of laser engraving?

 

A.  This process allows for fine detail and looks great on acrylic awards.

 

Q.  What about my logo?

 

A.  I do not charge a logo charge as long as I can receive your logo in a useable format. 

 

Q.  How do we establish a price?

 

A.  At Hook’s Engraving everything is done on a custom basis.  We schedule appointments, review your needs, make

suggestions and come up with a plan to work within your budget.

 

Q.  Do we charge by the letter for engraving?

 

A.  NO!  We want our customers to have their items say what they need to say, charging per letter tends to discourage that.

 

Q.  When can I expect my order?

 

A.  Most things can be turned around in 10 working days or less but we need to know your specific situation.

 

Q.  What kind of payment do you accept?

 

A.   We accept cash, personal checks, and company checks.  Purchase orders are accepted for established customers.
